"So..." the voice on the line was casual - too casual. "This Sunday, huh?"

The reply was immediately wary. "Yeah, what about it?"

"I'm thinking rematch."

A booming laugh, tinged with amusement and the first hint of arousal. "You're thinking that, huh?"

"Went well for us last time."

"For you, you mean." It was said without heat.

The grin was evident, even over the phone. "For both of us. You tryin' to say you didn't have a good time?"

"Ain't sayin' that at all."

"Good, 'cause I'd hate to call you a liar." Slight pause. "So, you up for it?"

Like the question even had to be asked... "Yeah, I think I might be. Terms?"

"Well, we've done double or nothing, so how about triple?"

Low, admiring whistle. "During the season? That'll be hard to pull off."

"To be collected during bye week, then."

"Alright, you're on."

"Good." Another slight pause. "See ya on Friday, then?"

"I'll be there." Then, low, with a hint of wicked intent: " I'd get some sleep beforehand, if I were you."

"Planning on wearing me out?"

"Damn right I am."

"Looking forward to it."

"Damn well better be, man."

"See you on Friday."
