This is so good! I love the way you incorporated bits of all of the haiku into the story, and Casey's point of view is always an interesting one.
Some of your lines are just so evocative, really made me feel the pain between the two, and what it's been like for everybody since the two of them been on the outs, like, Fuck, man...if we're letting the press come between us, what do we have left?", and (and wouldn't that be a fucked up situation, given what Casey's seen Matt do to himself over Ben).
I've been thinking about how things might have gone after the wedding, because it just seems that Ben's exclusion of his family from his *wedding* is totally outrageous, and can't have gone over very well. It's good to know other people think about these things too, and now I don't have to write about it, because you did such an excellent job with it!
