Okay, it does seem rather paltry to leave but one comment on such a wonderful multi-chapter fic
Hey, man, as long as you're reading & enjoying, that's the important thing. :)
First of all may I prostrate myself at your feet and thank you, thank you a thousand million times for using Orlando's full name
It's a nice name, I don't know why more people don't use it.
And second guh, yeah - thank you for using the pairings that you did.
Trust me, it wasn't a hardship. And the Bean/Orlando and Karl/Bean were what Caro asked for in her original request. I sort of gave everyone the Karl/Harry on my own. *g*
Again, I don't have anything at all against writers who pair Orlando with Viggo
Man, I haven't written Vig/Orli in YEARS. That side of the fandom scares me to death.
Your characterization is simply marvelous - for everyone - and consistent throughout. NONE of them were feminized - not even Orlando, which seems a sore temptation to many.
Thank you so much!!! And yeah, I hear ya. Nothing turns me off a fic faster than a simpering, girlish Orlando. Ugh.
And the whole premise was so good - what a delightful way to get everyone together with their "rightful" partners. And weirdly, I think, semi-plausible.
Awesome!! Believable was totally what I was going after, so I'm thrilled that it seemed like this 'could' have happened.
I liked that Orlando went with Jerry first, so there was none of that over-riding Sean has to break Orlando's cherry thing - though I'm certainly a fan of first time fics, too - I just really liked the pace of this story - things didn't feel rushed at all.
It was very important to me that Orlando NOT be a 'virgin', in that sense, when he finally got to Sean. So, yaye, I'm glad that part worked, as well. :)
And oh, you've of course, made me fall in love with Karl all over again (as if I ever fell "out.") What an utterly cool guy, the way you depict him.
I was so worried that I made him too perfect, but no one seems to mind & he was just such a joy to write, so, yeah.
Of course I enjoyed the hobbitness of the hobbits and various appearances by others, too. I really think you've nailed Viggo.
You have no idea how hard I was giggling over Viggo. And Dom & Billy being, well, Dom & Billy. *g*
Thanks for all the work you put into it - just another to add to my long line of my personal "Broadwriting" favorites.
Thanks again, hon!!! *mwah* I'm so glad you liked it!
