I'm right on board with you on the fascination with the complexity of the relationships between John and his sons. Absolutely rings my bell, and makes SPN a much more interesting place to write than just the ghosts and ghoulies do (although ghosts and ghoulies are fun, too!).

I'd love to see you write more gen John fic ... you've got such a great voice for him.
